1 Spanish Broom
This plant yields fine fibre which is used in Spain for lace and other fine tissues. In Italy and France a durable cloth is made of it. The plant (Spartium Scoparium) grows well in dry, hilly places, railway banks, etc., and has a beautiful yellow butterfly-shaped flower. -
